My Last Year Exams in Jr. High School

Second term. All about grades, now, i thought. Nope. Well, sure, grades. With all these grades and girls and the world that you want to explore, there’s no time for nervousness. Nope. Day after day I studied… What am I doing wrong? Did I study the wrong way? I’ve never done this before. How do you write that. How do you use grammar like this – An ongoing battle in your head that won’t allow you to rest or think properly, and calmly. Panicking half of the time…

And so the time of the Exams came. We were supposed to read a text, and then answer some questions about it, it wasn’t too hard, but you still get nervous cause it’s an Examination, you know!

Although I've read the book already, Kite Runner from Khaled Hosseini, I was a bit surprised it landed in the Exams. I found Kite runneraround 1½ pages from the book. It’s great. Definitely a best buy.

Around 1 hour and 20 minutes later, I was done. I handed in the work, and went back to the bench to pick up my clothes and get out. I felt this relief, suddenly to be replaced by panic. I remembered that we had another exam in two days and therefore I felt this rock in my chest, pulling me down like a magnet…

Exhaustion. A lot of it. Lots of hours to spend just on the studies. Math teacher going on as usual, giving us a bunch of homework just the day before. I wasn’t so happy about it.

We still have 4-5 exams left, can’t remember the exact number. I hope we’ll have better preparation next time – then you may not need to be as nervous as you are right now.
